FL Studio (formerly known as Fruity Loops) is a complete program developed to produce music on your computer.Originally designed to create loops, FL Studio has been transformed over time into a true digital audio station. It has everything you need to compose, record, edit, mix and master audio in a professional way. These include FL Studio midi files, popular songs, chords, and genres. Use these midi files to jump-start your production but I encourage you to switch things up and make everything original. A lot of the time, the midi notes can be off. The default FL Studio installation will register the program for the current Windows user. Registering FL Studio for all Windows users is also possible (in FL Studio 7 and higher). For the boxed version of FL Studio, simply select 'Install for all users' during installation. For the downloadable version of FL Studio, follow these Instructions. The vector-based interface is easy to read, scalable across displays, and supports multitouch. The Browser, Channel Rack, and the Pattern list contain all the functions from the program.

Although the program comes with some clear limitations, it can do wonders and create complex, well-produced pieces of music from a single interface.

Yes, if you have some experience with such programs already. The UI features a learning curve that’s not ideal for beginners.
